I have worked in the customer service industry for over 20 years and for the last 15 years in senior leadership roles. My most recent role was Head of Operations for the National Citizen Service (NCS), managing the sales and customer service areas of the organisation. including social media.

Before that I was Head of Operations for La Redoute a large French online retailer, managing all aspects of customer service and sales.

I am passionate about great customer service and delivering a best in class service and following my appointment with NCS I became passionate about the NCS programme and what opportunities it can provide to young people.

Outside of the work environment I have a young family and a lot of my spare time is spent with them, however I do find time to be an avid Bradford Bulls fan! 

My role within Flying Futures is to oversee the recruitment of young people onto the NCS programme, from ensuring that recruitment events such as assemblies in school go smoothly to ensuring great customer service is achieved when customers contact us or we contact them.

I own the contact strategy and it’s my job to ensure as many young people within our areas have an opportunity to experience the NCS programme and oversee their transition from signing up to leaving on their first day.

I manage an experienced team with a lot on NCS experience behind them and together we provide a great level of service to all our customers.
