Youth Clubs
Creating safe spaces, positive experiences and opportunities for young people.
Flying Futures works alongside partner organisations to support youth clubs across Selby and Doncaster, helping create welcoming environments where young people can socialise, develop new skills and access positive opportunities outside of school.
We believe that every young person should have access to safe, inclusive spaces where they feel valued, supported and encouraged to reach their potential.
Through our partnership approach, we help strengthen local youth provision and support activities that respond to the needs and interests of young people within their communities.
What Do Youth Clubs Offer?
Youth clubs provide opportunities for young people to spend time with friends, meet new people and participate in a variety of positive activities.
Depending on the setting and local partnerships, activities can include:
- Sports, games and recreational activities.
- Creative activities and group challenges.
- Personal development and confidence-building.
- Opportunities to develop friendships and social skills.
- Informal support, guidance and positive role models.
- Opportunities for young people to share their ideas and influence activities.
Making a Difference
Through our involvement in local youth clubs, we aim to:
- Increase access to safe and positive activities.
- Reduce social isolation and strengthen friendships.
- Build confidence, resilience and interpersonal skills.
- Support emotional wellbeing and positive relationships.
- Encourage young people to participate in their communities.
- Strengthen partnerships and local youth provision.
Our Aim
To support vibrant, inclusive youth clubs that give young people somewhere to belong, opportunities to grow and the confidence to shape their own futures.
We are always looking for new partners to continue delivering the work that we do!
