Our Summer Jobs Programme provides young people across the North East with the opportunity to experience paid employment, develop valuable workplace skills and take their first steps towards future careers.
Through partnerships with local employers, we support young people into meaningful summer employment opportunities, helping them gain practical experience, build confidence and develop a greater understanding of the world of work.
What Does the Programme Involve?
The programme connects young people with employers offering paid summer placements across a range of industries and sectors.
Alongside their employment experience, young people benefit from guidance and support to help them prepare for the workplace, develop essential employability skills and make the most of their opportunity.
Making a Difference
For many young people, accessing their first employment opportunity can be challenging. Our programme helps remove barriers by creating opportunities to earn, learn and gain experience in a supportive environment.
